One of the supervisors called a Walmart and ordered the cake. he told them to write: “best wishes Suzanne” and underneath that write “we will miss you”. here’s the cake that was delivered.

Facebook is neat and all

… but come on!

The two companies said on Wednesday that Microsoft would pay $240 million for a 1.6 percent stake in Facebook. The investment values Facebook, which is three and a half years old and will bring in about $150 million in revenue this year, at $15 billion.

15 Billion!?! How is a company that brings in $150 Million a year in revenue worth $15 Billion? This whole social media scramble; with Microsoft, Google and Yahoo all trying to buy up everything reeks of the ’90’s dot com bubble to me. I don’t see how these sites can give a solid return on these investments. What happens when they are no longer the flavor of the month and everyone switches to the next new cool thing.
